    Why the Benefit?

Several years ago, Princess Madiha’s young son, Omar, was in a car accident and survived with his health intact. Thankful that God spared her son’s life, Madiha vowed to give back to the community. Giving thanks to St. Jude, the patron saint of those in need, Princess Madiha created the annual benefit for St. Jude’s Children Hospital.

At first, the Annual Benefit and Concert for St. Jude's Children's Hosptial was very small, only the local dance community participated. Each year the event grew larger, garnering more support from the local community. After 16 years the benefit has raised over half a million dollars in support St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.

Founded by Danny Thomas, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital helps children and families in dire need of expensive and rare treatments for a variety of diseases.

Please help 2008 be the most successful benefit yet!
